Juniors - Class of 2020
Danielle Stephenson – Soprano I
Hometown: Guam (and also Alabama) (and also D.C.) Major: French and Italian Joined: Fall 2016 Dani is a junior who has lived all over the world in her 18 (only 18!!!) years. Her many interests span from languages (Spanish AND Italian) to pre-med. She's even going for a Certificate in Jazz Studies, and her powerful renditions of "Fallin'" and "Elastic Heart" will make you swoon. Rolltide! |
Philippa Marks – Alto I
Music Director 2019 Hometown: London, England Major: Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy Joined: Fall 2016 Philippa Marks would like everyone to know that she really and truly is the only Brit currently attending Princeton, a fact she is incredibly proud of. Having traded life in London for New Jersey, Philippa spends her time toodling on the violin in PUO, doing musical-related outreach, speaking French badly and laughing at American culture. Philippa is also an aspiring professional hair braid-er, so watch this space for future business ventures (Braider Joe’s© etc.) #LeanIn |
Danielle Almstead – Alto II
President 2019 Hometown: Princeton, NJ Major: Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Joined: Spring 2017 Danielle is a proud lady bass who has lived in the town of Princeton for most of her life. She is pre-med and is thinking about majoring in Molecular Biology. As the second Danielle in the TGs, she can be identified by her roles backstage in many PUP productions, her love for Korean food and photography, her EMT uniform, and her crazy sleep schedule. It's not that she's not a "mroning person." She loves mornings! She's just not a "waking up person." |
Haneul Ryoo – Alto II
Librarian 2019 Hometown: Pasadena, California (and Minnesota) (and South Dakota) (and many more) Major: Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy Joined: Fall 2017 Ryoo is a junior hailing from Pasadena, California, although the midwest will always feel like home in my heart. Her first name’s Haneul which you probably read in your head incorrectly, so she goes by Ryoo, although you probably read that in your head also incorrectly (think Hunger Games). She loves loves loves to sing, but when she's not singing you can find her leading the cheer team at basketball and football games or (unfortunately) doing her 1000 pages of reading for the week. |
